Colorado awards $11 million for opioid treatment and recovery in most competitive funding round to date
The Colorado Opioid Abatement Council has awarded $11 million to 24 organizations and local governments, including the Colorado Behavioral Health Administration. The BHA will use the funds for crisis system modernization and work in collaboration with Rocky Mountain Health Plans and Signal Behavioral Health Network to medically manage substance use withdrawal and provide medications for opioid use disorder.

CMU’s Master of Social Work receives accreditation from the Council on Social Work Education
The Master of Social Work program at Colorado Mesa University has earned official accreditation status from the Board of Accreditation of the CSWE. In 2024, Rocky Mountain Health Plans matched the City of Grand Junction's $500,000 investment to support an innovative student loan repayment initiative that makes graduate education more accessible and encourages CMU students to stay local following graduation.

‘Open for everyone’: Adaptive ice skating arrives in Moffat County through NWCCI mission
