Coverage in Child Health Plan Plus Program

Access to health care coverage is important for people of all ages. Through the Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+) program, RMHP provides low-cost health insurance benefits to children and pregnant women 19 and older who do not qualify for Health First Colorado but do not earn enough to pay for private health insurance.

How Does CHP+ Work?

When you enroll in CHP+, you or your child(ren) can go to the doctor or get medication whenever you need it. You and your child(dren) can see any RMHP participating provider.

Who Qualifies for CHP+?

  • Children age 18 and under and pregnant women
  • Colorado residents who meet income criteria and aren’t eligible for Health First Colorado and aren’t covered by other health insurance.
  • Lawfully residing children and pregnant women
