Coverage in Child Health Plan Plus Program

Coverage in Child Health Plan Plus Program

Access to health care coverage is important for people of all ages. Through the Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+) program, RMHP provides low-cost health insurance benefits to children whose families earn too much to qualify for Health First Colorado but not enough to pay for private insurance.

How Does CHP+ Work?

When you enroll in CHP+, your children can go to the doctor or get medication whenever they need it. Your child can see any RMHP-participating provider.

Who Qualifies for CHP+?

  • Children age 18 and under and pregnant women
  • Colorado residents who meet income criteria and aren’t eligible for Health First Colorado and aren’t covered by other health insurance.
  • Lawfully residing children and pregnant women

Where is the RMHP CHP+ Service Area

RMHP serves CHP+ Members in the 22 counties identified by the dark orange color below.
