You can dial 2-1-1 or visit the 2-1-1 website for free and confidential information and community referrals. You can find help with food, housing, child care options, employment, and more. You can also download the Health First Colorado Member handbook for more information.
Types of Help Available
Crisis help is available at no cost to you 24 hours a day. If you’re dealing with an emotional issue, having family or relationship problems, or struggling at work or school, free, confidential support is only a phone call away. You might need to find a ride to your doctor’s appointment if you do not drive. You may want to ask a friend or relative, or you may take the bus. Some communities have programs to help you get to your doctor appointments. You can call your local resource center or county social services department. If you are having trouble getting care because of transportation needs, please call RMHP Customer Service at 888-282-8801. Just remember: ambulance services are for emergencies only.

Yes. Your primary care provider, community care team and RMHP can help you find services to help with daily activities, like bathing, eating and dressing, so you can continue to live at home and reduce trips to the hospital. We can also help refer you to resources in your community to help with housing, food assistance, and long-term services and supports.
We understand the importance of family, loved ones ,and caregivers, as well as the challenges and rewards of helping others. We have resources, support, and referrals to help caregivers.
We can provide you with advance care planning information and forms such as Medical Durable Power of Attorney, CPR Directive, Medical Orders for Scope of Treatment (MOST), and Living Will.
