The health of our members and the safety of those who deliver care are our top priorities. Rocky Mountain Health Plans (RMHP) is taking action and providing resources to support our members and providers during this challenging time.
We are continuing to monitor policy changes on an ongoing basis, including updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid services (CMS), federal and state governments, and local organizations. We may have to adjust our business practices, processes, and policies accordingly. Any changes or updates will be posted on our provider resource pages as quickly as possible.
Effective immediately, RMHP is expanding our policies around telehealth services for all members, making it even easier for patients to connect with their health care provider.
RMHP is working to help our communities access health care to the fullest extent possible as we come together to address this national emergency. We’re adopting measures that will reduce administrative burden for providers and facilities, helping members more easily access the care they need under their benefit plan, and adjusting programs and services, as needed, to protect members and help limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus in communities.
RMHP is closely monitoring changes on an ongoing basis to update our coding and reimbursement guidelines.
RMHP is committed to making sure Members can get the care they need. RMHP will waive Member cost sharing (copays, coinsurance, and deductibles) for COVID-19 diagnostic testing for all RMHP Members, including in-network office visits, in-network urgent care visits, and/or emergency room visits.
We are closely monitoring the drug supply chain to determine if any coverage changes are necessary.
