Connect for Health Colorado is the state’s health insurance marketplace. Here, you can shop for plans, and in some instances, qualify for financial assistance.
What is a Health Insurance Marketplace?
The Affordable Care Act (ACA) establishes marketplaces, called exchanges, where individuals can shop for plans and see if they qualify for financial assistance and tax credits. A federal exchange was created, and states had the opportunity to create their own as well.
Colorado’s health insurance marketplace, or exchange, is Connect for Health Colorado.
