Required Training - Fraud, Waste and Abuse
Medicare Part D is a federal program used to subsidize the cost of prescription medication to Medicare beneficiaries. The Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement, and Modernization Act (MMA), which established the Medicare Part D program, requires Rocky Mountain Health Plans (RMHP) to create and distribute Part D Fraud, Waste and Abuse training information. RMHP also provides Fraud, Waste and Abuse training in relation to its other Medicare, Medicaid and Child Health Plan Plus program participation, and other health plans. This training is required to be completed by RMHP employees as well as downstream and first-tier entities upon hire or contract, and annually thereafter.
