Improving Pregnancy Outcomes
Babies born too early or too small often start life with serious, sometimes lifelong problems. Rocky Mountain Health Plans has developed a unique program designed to help its members have a full-term, healthy pregnancy and baby.
RMHP offers pregnant members a screening to determine if they might be at risk of delivering early, and personalized help for those at risk. Our nurses can provide education and support with such issues as twins, premature labor, bedrest, breast feeding, diabetes, and pregnancy-induced high blood pressure. We also have a stop-smoking program for pregnant women.
