Stand Alone Part D Prescription Drug Coverage
Rocky Mountain Health Plans will not be renewing its Essential
Standalone Part D plan. You may choose to enroll in our plan, but your
coverage will automatically end on December 31, 2010. You are also
entitled to enroll in a new MA-PD plan, section 1876 cost or PDP
beginning October 1 through December 31, 2011. If you do not enroll in
another MA-PD plan, section 1876 cost plan or PDP plan effective
January 1, 2011 you will be disenrolled from the plan on this date.
You will receive additional information in the fall about your rights
and additional options.

The formulary will also explain the copayment or tier level applicable to the drugs you take (for example: generic, preferred brand, non-preferred brand).
*Medicare beneficiaries may be enrolled in only one Part D Plan at a time.
*Medicare beneficiaries currently enrolled in a private-fee-for-service (PFFS) plan that does not include Medicare presecription drug coverage, an MA Medicare Savings Account (MSA) plan or an 1876 Cost plan may enroll in a PDP and will not automatically be disenrolled from the PFFS, MSA, or Cost plan. Medicare beneficiaries currently enrolled in an MA PFFS plan that includes Medicare prescription drug coverage or any MA coordinated care (HMO or PPO) plan will be automatically disenrolled from the HMO, PPO or MA PFFS plan if they enroll in a PDP.
