Rocky Mountain Health Plans (RMHP) is excited to be joining the Denver Cutthroats this weekend for the two-game weekend series against the Tulsa Oilers! Enjoy two heart-stopping hockey games on Friday (7pm) and Saturday (6pm). RMHP will have a table at both games with great giveaways and prizes!
RMHP will also be sponsoring a free off-ice clinic as part of the Saturday Hockey Camp for junior hockey players. This is a great opportunity to learn more about injury/concussion management and nutrition, especially for junior hockey players and their families. There might even be a celebrity guest appearance, and there will definitely be some healthy giveaways for the young athletes.
To teach about injury and concussion prevention, we welcome Dr. Julie Wilson, the Co-director of the Concussion program at Children’s Hospital of Colorado! She is a renowned specialist in pediatrics and sports medicine, as we are honored she will join us.
RMHP is also delighted to sponsor nutrition sessions catered to young hockey players who want to make the wisest choices to improve their performance. Tami Monaghan, Certified Holistic Health Practitioner and Health Coach, will discuss best nutrition tips for young hockey athletes.
If you miss us this time, be sure to find RMHP in Vail on January 24-25 as the Cutthroats take on the Arizona Sundogs! We’ll be at the games and sponsoring another Hockey Camp featuring and Dr. David Baker, a Pediatric Neuropsychologist in the Concussion Program at Children’s Hospital with a specialty in mild traumatic brain injury.
