Rocky Mountain Health Plans Foundation generates philanthropic support for innovative health care approaches. We are a catalyst for developing new programs to improve the health of Coloradans.
Rocky Mountain Health Plans Foundation was formed in 1997 by Rocky Mountain Health Plans, which was formed in 1974 through an alliance with area physicians and community leaders. Rocky Mountain Health Plans' primary focus was getting quality health care to the uninsured and underserved. The Foundation expands the health plan's mission to bring quality care to Coloradans outside its membership.
When a health care need or gap is identified, the Foundation brings together the partners who can get things done and locates the financing through grant opportunities.
