2007 Colorado Top Company Award
RMHP was named a Colorado Top Company in the health care category for the SOLO Health Plans product launch and marketing campaign.
The Colorado Top Company awards program was established to shine a spotlight on the best-of-the-best Colorado companies. The program distinguishes those who show financial and operational excellence, commitment to the community, and set the standard for those in business. Finalists are selected based on financial performance, excellence in one or more aspects of their business, and community involvement. Top Company is Colorado’s most competitive business award in the state.
2007 Health Matters Quality Report
The commitment of RMHP to its Members is reflected in the 2007 Health Matters Quality Report by the Colorado Business Group on Health. RMHP scored significantly higher that other Colorado health plans for helpful customer service, trouble-free access to specialty care, and timely handling of claims.
2007 Bronze Leaf Award
Colorado Healthcare Communicators awarded RMHP with a 2007 Bronze Leaf Award for Best Outdoor Advertising Campaign. RMHP launched the campaign in support of the 2006 HealthONE Employee Open Enrollment. Campaign results were quite impressive with huge membership gains.

2007 A.M. Best Company
RMHP is a financially strong and stable organization, receiving A.M. Best Company’s highest rating for a health plan of its size (B++ - Very Good).
Founded in 1899, A.M. Best Company is a full-service credit rating organization dedicated to serving the financial services industries, including the banking and insurance sectors. Policyholders and depositors rely on Best's ratings and analysis as a means of assessing financial strength and creditworthiness of risk-bearing entities and investment vehicles.
2007 The Street, Inc.
RMHP has been rated A- (Excellent Financial Strength) by The Street, Inc. The A- rating means that RMHP offers excellent financial security. It has maintained a conservative stance in its investment strategies, business operations, and underwriting commitments. While the financial position of any company is subject to change, The Street, Inc. concludes that RMHP has the resources necessary to deal with severe economic conditions. The A- rating places RMHP on TheStreet.com - a recommended elite list of 109 health insurance companies representing the top 20.2 percent of the industry.
Well Workplace Award
RMHP has been named a Well Workplace by the Wellness Councils of America. RMHP earned this recognition by successfully meeting rigorous health promotion standards and by demonstrating a commitment to improving the health and well being of its employees. This prestigious acknowledgement recognizes RMHP as one of America's Healthiest Companies. RMHP is the first employer on the Western Slope to receive this award and the fifth in Colorado.
